Art Garden AVL Studio # 314, 316, 320 & 324
‘Art Garden is a queer-owned, mutualist arts collaborative, dedicated to making space and economic opportunity for artists from historically excluded communities. We are an art and plant gallery, showcasing over 60 local artists and over 100 species of plants, located on the North end of Riverview Station in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC. We have expanded to over 6000 sq/ft on two floors, encompassing a retail art shop, 10 working artist studios, including a Botanica, and a newly added Ritual Herbalism School, The Pot Stirred mushroom cafe, our two Canopy exhibition spaces that accommodate workshop/ classroom/ event space in a plant-filled art gallery space, plus a garden outside for growing and gathering.
We have many monthly events and workshops that are open to the community, both plant and art related! Many of which are free to the public as well.
Highlighting Art Garden AVL would be highlighting two local businesses in Asheville, NC, as well as uplifting over 60 local individual artists and their families.’
