Several of our artists offer individual lessons or group classes for those who want to try their hand at a new medium or expand their skills. Out-of-town visitors can sometimes arrange customized classes to suit their needs.

FUN ART FOR ARTSY KIDS!

Join Cynthia Llanes in her studio (324) in The Canopy at Art Garden AVL for this awesome kids workshop, "Fun Art for Artsy Kids!" Your kid will gain confidence in their creativity, and learn the basics of drawing and color, using 1-2 mediums.

Learn the basics of plant ink-making in this 2.5 hour workshop using methods that can be replicated in the home kitchen with a variety of plants. We will brew an earthy muted green ink together using foraged nettle leaves, a sustainable pigment source, and explore painting and drawing with our new plant ink.
