Classes & Workshops

Several of our artists offer individual lessons or group classes for those who want to try their hand at a new medium or expand their skills. Out-of-town visitors can sometimes arrange customized classes to suit their needs.

Join us on Second Saturdays each month of 2024 for our Who Am I, Who Are We?: Our Landscape group exhibit Opening Reception in collaboration with The River Arts District!     Each month we will be exploring a new subtopic as it relates to the overarching exhibit topic, with each of our artists telling their stories in this group exhibit.   July 27th, 12-2:30 pm. 191 Lyman St, #320, Asheville NC. All supplies included. Learn the basics of plant ink-making in this 2.5 hour workshop using methods that can be replicated in the home kitchen with a variety of plants. We will brew an earthy muted green ink together using foraged nettle leaves, a sustainable pigment source, and explore painting and drawing with our new plant ink.
