Jane Schmidt is an award winning artist at the height of her career as a landscape painter. She is well known for her bold and colorful painting style and for her imaginative interpretation of landscapes and objects of interest. Her nature inspired images are regularly described as ‘painterly abstractions’ and ‘expressionistic’. Jane’s daring use of complex color, impasto texture and gestural brush work make her artwork a distinctive addition to homes and businesses.
Jane has earned national and international recognition for her contemporary landscape paintings. Jane is offering 3-day Workshops in her studio. These workshops are designed for painters who want to experiment with subjective colors and arbitrary forms when painting a landscape.
