310 ART has the most diverse collection of fine art and craft in the River Arts District. Featuring the work of 25 artists, visitors can find something special to take home, from elegant handcrafted jewerly, fine art original paintings both large and small, to eclectic sculpture in clay and mixed media.
The Fine ART school for adults is the oldest and most respected independent school in the region. Courses include special topics in Watercolor, Oils, Acrylics, Encaustic, Printmaking, Mixed Media and more. Marvelous Monday open studios are held almost every week year round. You can start as a beginner in this studio style class, and all levels are accepted! Work in the medium of your choice with two top instructors.

Fleta Monaghan is a painter and sculptor working in oils, encaustic and mixed media sculpture. She is the founder and director of the oldest fine art school for adults in the River Arts District of Asheville. Her gallery and school, 310 ART, was founded in 2006, and is an established and highly respected educational center for the fine arts.
